Do you accept transfer credits?

If the courses constitute a logical part of your program, up to a maximum of 12 semester hours of transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions may be accepted provided. These courses must be eligible for graduate credit at the institution where they were taken. The courses must be graded courses with grades of at least B or equivalent earned in each course. The courses must be completed within the seven years prior to your expected graduation from Florida Tech. Some courses presented by certain military schools are eligible for transfer credit. Although transfer credit is only "officially" granted upon the students' acceptance to Florida Tech, you may call the office with any questions you may have. Permission to take a course at another institution for transfer to Florida Tech subsequent to being admitted to the Florida Tech site must be obtained from the cognizant department head prior to taking the course.

Can I get a second Masters?

Of course, but you must enroll in the programs sequentially, not simultaneously. Following completion of your first degree, you have up to two years to request a second degree without reapplying to the university. Applicable credit from your first degree may be used to meet up to one-half of the credits required for your second degree. Keep in mind that you will not be able to use any courses more than seven years old by the time you complete your second degree.
